Our story supporting individuals aged 9 to 65

Young Mindz was built on the belief that the right kind of support can change someone’s entire life. Not just showing up, but really seeing someone for who they are, what they’ve been through, and how they aspire to live.

We exist because too many people feel like they have to fit into a system that doesn’t quite fit them. Young Mindz was started with a focus on person-centred, holistic care and the belief that the right support changes everything. We believe that everyone needs someone in their corner who truly sees them for who they are and for all that they can be. That’s what we do

How much experience do Young Mindz staff have?2025-01-21T19:49:55+11:00

All Young Mindz support staff have a minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting people with a range of physical and mental disabilities. They are also trained in Mindful Mentor programs which are designed in collaboration with Psychologists, School Teachers and Breathwork Coaches to assist with emotional and mental support.

At the end of each support session, staff track program results through metrics showing improvements in mental health, personal goals, and self-esteem. Our supports are then adjusted as participants make progress.

Young Mindz specialises in providing support to children, teenagers and young adults. Our participants typically range from 9 to 65 years old. We understand their needs and have developed tools that we use alongside our supports that sets young people up to lead a fulfilling life.
